If I embrace this downward spiral
Or give in to this vicious cycle

As I tiptoe through this headspace
To find the memories I’ve hidden away
Under lock and key and woe is me
I’ve got my fingers crossed that they weren’t erased
Cause I vaguely remember devotion
But I kind of think that it was replaced
By a confusing sense of direction

As I lose sense of perspective
A broken compass is all the remains
To navigate me through my problems
That I struggle with every day
I will search the depths of this ocean

In the distance I see a flashing light
I’m hoping it won’t lead me astray

Now I’m running through this headspace
Unlocking memories awakening pain
Looking back on life right before my eyes
and nearly everything I wanted to change
Cause I vaguely remember composure
But I’ve lost my drive to navigate
Still the distance calls and beckons me
and now I’m left to follow my name

Amazing songs,KSE lyrics helps me a lot,i lost my father recently(2020). The time where i was really close with him was in summer 2007 and i listened a lot to ADD Album at the time. So hearing KSE always reminds me of him,r.i.p. Jesse leach is an amazing vocalist and lyricist,howard too. love 'em both. Adam is a genius period. Mike's an amazing drawer/artist and bass player.
